A Short Essay On Self-Pity

I’ve got meaning with no direction, yet

I’m still gaining new perspectives

But the tail end of everything

Is in my ear and whispering

I’m part of you now and fast approaching

little time. Longer lines,

Longer lists

If I was into making them.

I just want to play and contemplate

The moments in every way

When I should be ducking my rows straight

And questioning the magistrate
